Our new book Welcome Home! Housing in Our Community is perfect for schools, families, and planning departments!
CPC partnered with the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) on an engaging storytelling approach to communicating about housing. Concepts like density, zoning, and affordability are brought to life in the book, with illustrations representing a variety of neighborhoods, populations, and housing types. Playful details support clear, understandable prompts and narrative about housing, community, and belonging.
Along with print-ready and fully WCAG-accessible digital files of the book in both English and Spanish, we created a “toolkit” of support materials including posters, bookmarks, coloring pages, social media posts, a slide deck template, and an illustration library.
So what can we do? We can build more homes and different kinds of homes to help meet our needs. More homes can mean more choices for everyone and help bring prices down.”
