As CPC’s operations coordinator, Arturo helps to manage the organization’s day-to-day operations, develop and implement systems and procedures, and provide overall support. Prior to joining CPC, Arturo worked in executive support and operations for a variety of organizations. Arturo is also a Chicano flutist, composer, and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He performs regularly on flute and piccolo and coaches young musicians at the Oakland Youth Symphony Orchestra and the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts. He also serves as the flute ambassador for the Awesöme Orchestra Collective.
Outside of music and work, Arturo enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, wine tasting, and exploring California. He’s also passionate about American muscle cars, world history, and conversations around equity and education. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in 2013.
