Emily Robbins

Emily Robbins began her planning career with Community Planning Collaborative in 2022 as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley and has since contributed to a range of projects focused on regional planning and collaboration, housing policy, and inclusive community engagement. Prior to joining CPC, she assisted in research at UCSF and UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design on a variety of community-based research projects at the intersection of housing, health, community, and environmental justice.

At CPC, her work has primarily focused on supporting the coordination of complex, multi-year projects such as the 21 Elements Collaborative and MTC/ABAG’s Regional Housing Technical Assistance Program. She has also worked on several community engagement projects, including outreach and policy evaluation for Rooted in Marin and, most recently, leading Tierra de Rosas. Through her work, she honed her skills in project coordination, community engagement, and research, while helping bring together local governments, community organizations, and regional partners to address shared challenges.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Emily is passionate about helping expand access to housing and creating more equitable, inclusive communities in the place she calls home.
