“Our project, an identification and ranking of potential housing sites, was a success in large part due to the contributions of Jeff Baird. Jeff worked side-by-side collaboratively with staff and as an extension of City staff, adding valuable expertise in the development and execution of a clear, problem-solving process.  As a seasoned facilitator, Jeff found the right balance between keeping the process moving and ensuring input with appropriate techniques, and keeping an eye on the end product while maintaining flexibility to deal with challenges along the way. He also earned and maintained the respect of the participants, and by the end helped us successfully finish the project because of the special skills he brought to staff. Despite a committee with diverse perspectives, the process was legitimate and fair to all parties and the participants unanimously supported the overall outcome although they might have differed on individual issues.”
